We have taken an initiative to identify the best and the brightest among the campers at Lake Owen. We're extending opportunities to those who demonstrate leadership qualities as well as exceptional talent in their respective sports. In return campers are offered discounted or free tuition.
At the end of the week each individual sport holds their respective "end of week contests." Based on the skill shown in this contest and the attitude show through out the week kids are selected to be a part of our tap program and are invited back to camp during the final session to participate in a TAP week filled with special activities, including private parties, extended skating hours, private gym sessions. Remember, talent isn't the only thing we are looking for in a TAP camper, it's also important that every TAP'd camper exhibit the kind of qualities we would also like in future staff members at Lake Owen Camp.
