What is the Mom/Dad to Camp Program?
Camp moms and dads are vital contributors to the camp experience of our campers. It is very important for you to remember that, if chosen, you will be a member of our staff. You are not a volunteer. In exchange for the work that you do during your session, you will be receiving compensation in the form of a significant tuition discount for your child, as well as your room and board for the session. Total cost of the Mom/Dad to Camp program is $460.00 for a child’s tuition, with the exception of nurses who receive full tuition for their child in exchange for their services.
What kind of work will I be doing?
We hire parents to work as nurses, counselors, office and canteen assistants, and kitchen staff. Please see the application for detailed job descriptions.
What do I need to do to be considered?
Download the Mom/Dad to Camp Employment Application. Please complete and return it with your child’s registration form and a deposit of $250.00 by March 9, 2012. Our Mom/Dad to Camp staff members are selected by way of an application process and are subject to all camp employee expectations. Due to the popularity of this program, we are unable to accommodate all parents requesting a position.
